History LIVES at Fort Mifflin! 

We experienced history first-hand at National Historic Landmark Fort Mifflin, we had a guide in Civil War period attire teach us about Civil War medicine, they used mercury and leeches!  

We also got to tour the fort to learn what each building was used for and finally, a highlight for all students and teachers alike was the weapons demonstrations!  

But the best part was when our guide let Mr. Silver, who also serves in the Armed Forces, fire the rifle!
